Tilak Varma and Nitish Reddy shine as India pull off thrilling win over New Zealand in second T20I

India secured a 2-0 series lead after a dramatic four-wicket victory against New Zealand in Christchurch. Despite a shaky start that left the visitors at 70 for 5, an unbeaten 69-run partnership between Tilak Varma and Nitish Kumar Reddy guided the team to a successful chase of 181 with one ball remaining.

Varma finished with 51 not out off 26 deliveries, while Reddy contributed 26 from 13 balls.

Earlier, New Zealand posted 180 for 5 after recovering from early pressure applied by Arshdeep Singh. Glenn Phillips and Bevon Jacobs anchored the hosts' innings with a 116-run stand, though India's late-order surge ultimately proved decisive.

Arshdeep claimed two wickets for the tourists, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar struggled during his four-over spell.
