The Raptors need to get over a multi-season losing streak

Toronto faces a significant hurdle in its quest to become a legitimate contender, as the team continues to struggle against Atlantic Division rivals. The Raptors have failed to secure a win against the New York Knicks in 15 consecutive regular season meetings dating back to December 2023.

Additionally, the Boston Celtics have dominated their head-to-head series, winning 15 of 16 games since December 2022 and claiming four straight season series. Scottie Barnes has acknowledged the need for improvement, noting that the team must focus on getting better as they attempt to overcome these persistent losing patterns.

While Toronto recently defeated a reserve-heavy Knicks squad by 50 points in an October 13 exhibition, the team remains focused on addressing their competitive gaps against top-tier opponents.
