The Good, Bad & Ugly from the Miami Dolphins Week 3 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs

The Miami Dolphins hosted the Kansas City Chiefs for their opening home matchup of the 2026 campaign at Hard Rock Stadium, ultimately dropping the contest 24-10. Despite the defeat, rookie linebacker Jacob Rodriguez provided a bright spot by securing his inaugural career interception off Patrick Mahomes, complemented by six tackles and three tackles for loss.

However, Miami struggled to generate defensive pressure in the form of sacks, extending their season-long drought to three games without bringing down an opposing quarterback. Compounding the team's difficulties, running back De'Von Achane was forced to exit the game early due to a knee injury and did not return.
