The Annika, the LPGA’s final major tournament before the season finale, has already begun revealing its third round of sponsor invitations, with two of the three spots now filled. Gainbridge, the event’s title sponsor, secured Annabelle Pancake-Webb, a rising star who clinched her 2027 LPGA Tour card just four days ago.
The 24-year-old, who grew up in Zionsville, Indiana—Gainbridge’s headquarters—made her LPGA debut in high school and finished fourth on the Epson Tour’s Race for the Card standings this season, including a Greater Toledo Classic victory. Meanwhile, LPGA legend Annika Sörenstam personally selected Wake Forest senior Macy Pate as the recipient of her sponsor exemption, following Pate’s dominant 10-stroke win at the 2026 Annika Intercollegiate earlier this month.
The final invitation remains undisclosed, held by the club’s Doyle family ownership, leaving speculation alive about a potential return for Kai Trump, who played the event last year as an amateur and finished with rounds of 83 and 75 despite limited professional experience. Trump, now a University of Miami collegiate golfer, underwent wrist surgery earlier this year and returned to competition last month, adding intrigue to the pending decision.
