Arch Manning, CJ Carr and Gunner Stockton headline 15 Unitas Award semifinalists

The Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award committee has narrowed its field to 15 semifinalists, highlighting quarterbacks who excel both on the field and in their academic and community pursuits. Arch Manning of Texas, Gunner Stockton of Georgia, and CJ Carr of Notre Dame lead the group, with all three signal-callers currently guiding their respective programs through undefeated campaigns.

The selection process began with a 27-player watch list established in August under updated eligibility guidelines for the 2026 season. Other notable semifinalists include Rocco Becht, Devon Dampier, Noah Fifita, Kevin Jennings, Avery Johnson, Sam Leavitt, Jayden Maiava, Drew Mestemaker, Dante Moore, Julian Sayin, Conner Weigman, and Demond Williams Jr.
