Texas Tech Enters Bye Week 5-0, But 'Ugly' Offense Must Improve

Texas Tech reached a five and zero record entering their bye week following a twenty-nine to seven victory over Colorado. Despite securing the road win thanks to four defensive interceptions after halftime, head coach Joey McGuire acknowledged the team has struggled with messy play during the opening halves of games.

Quarterback Will Hammond avoided turnovers while passing for one hundred thirty-four yards, though the passing game remains a work in progress for the undefeated squad.
