Jim Mora explains why Tyson Summers was dismissed mid-game: 'He made the decision'

During a college football matchup on Saturday, October 3, Colorado State head coach Jim Mora stripped his defensive coordinator of play-calling duties during the game. Following consecutive early touchdowns by Oregon State, coordinator Tyson Summers exited the field and was subsequently dismissed permanently from the program.

Associate head coach Kenny McClendon stepped in to call defensive plays for the remainder of the contest, steering the team through a turbulent evening as assistant coaches Trent Matthews and Kenyon Agurs also contributed to a crucial defensive stop.
