India Champions began the third season of the World Championship of Legends with a 46-run triumph over Australia Champions, driven by a stellar fielding effort from Stuart Binny. Binny secured the final wicket of the innings by diving to his right to catch a mistimed shot from Fawad Ahmed off Piyush Chawla's bowling, dismissing the opposition for 150 runs in 16.2 overs.
Earlier, the winning side posted a total of 196 for 7 after choosing to bat, led by captain Yuvraj Singh with an explosive 71 from 44 deliveries. Yusuf Pathan and Rishi Dhawan also made valuable scoring contributions during the first innings.
For the chasing Australian squad, D'Arcy Short top-scored with 65 runs while Joe Burns added 45, but the team ultimately fell short of the target.
