Tennessee football offers 2028 Texas running back

The University of Tennessee has extended a scholarship proposal to Jayshawn Mitchell, a highly regarded runner from the class of 2028. Following a productive discussion with Aaron Pittard, the standout from Brennan High School in San Antonio secured the opportunity, adding to a massive list of collegiate suitors that includes programs like Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, and Texas.

Mitchell is recognized as a top-tier talent in his graduating class and state by scouting services. While Kaden Craft remains the lone verbal pledge for Tennessee in that cycle, Mitchell's recruitment features extensive competition from across the country since UTSA initiated his offer sheet in January.
