Ten-man Scotland beaten by Switzerland in Pocognoli's first match at Hampden

Sebastien Pocognoli suffered a difficult start to his tenure as Scotland manager as his squad fell three goals behind to Switzerland in a one-sided Nations League B encounter. Early trouble struck when Jack Hendry received a red card inside the opening ten minutes for halting a clear scoring chance, allowing Ricardo Rodriguez to break the deadlock via the ensuing free-kick.

Nico Elvedi doubled the advantage shortly after the interval, before Zeki Amdouni sealed the final scoreline late in the fixture with a powerful finish past Angus Gunn.
