Stillman College has officially brought back its football program, naming alumnus Teddy Keaton to lead the revival as both head coach and athletic director. During a gathering at Birthright Alumni Hall on Thursday, university leadership introduced the former player to spearhead the team's return to the field after a hiatus that began following the 2015 campaign.
Keaton previously guided the Tigers from 2011 to 2015 following a prior coaching stint on campus, and he brings additional revival experience from successfully restarting the program at Allen University. With existing campus facilities like the stadium and weight rooms still intact, the returning leader aims to utilize a three-year recruiting blueprint to prepare the squad for competition in its traditional navy and gold colors.
