Sussex has secured the services of right-arm fast bowler Keith Dudgeon on a two-year contract ahead of the upcoming 2027 season, following his departure from Kent. The thirty-year-old South African athlete previously claimed forty-two wickets across thirteen County Championship fixtures during the 2026 campaign, helping his former county achieve promotion out of Division Two.
Director of Cricket Paul Farbrace noted that the experienced seamer is expected to bolster the squad as they prepare to compete in Division One and target success in the Vitality Blast tournament. Meanwhile, Dudgeon expressed gratitude toward both club administrations and teammates for facilitating the transition to his new home ground.
