Stephen Curry reached another major milestone on Friday evening, securing eighteenth place on the league all-time scoring charts during a victory over Los Angeles. The Golden State star finished the contest with thirty-one points, surpassing the career total of Dominique Wilkins in the process.
His milestone basket arrived in the final period via a long-range shot following assistance from Draymond Green and a screen set by Will Richard, resulting in a four-point play after a technical infraction was assessed against Matisse Thybulle. Curry now holds 26,674 career points across more than seventeen campaigns, placing him just behind Oscar Robertson on the historic leaderboard.
Among current competitors, only Kevin Durant, James Harden, and DeMar DeRozan sit ahead of him in career scoring. The final scoreboard showed a 112-95 triumph for the visitors.
