Stefanos Tsitsipas has set clear targets for the remainder of the 2024 season, aiming to reclaim his former ranking dominance ahead of the 2025 Grand Slams. The Greek ace, who once reached as high as world number three and finished runner-up at two majors, has rebounded from a low of world number 88 by securing his 13th ATP title in Gstaad and advancing to the fourth round of the US Open for the first time.
His recent form has propelled him back into the top 50, but Tsitsipas remains focused on securing a top-32 ranking to guarantee a Grand Slam seed next year. He has already achieved one of his key objectives by defeating two top-10 players this season—Taylor Fritz at the United Cup and Alex de Minaur at the Miami Open—though he initially overlooked the latter victory.
Tsitsipas also plans to enter the second week of at least one Grand Slam, a milestone he reached two months ago after overcoming an earlier setback.
