Coco Gauff has just added another tournament to her schedule this year despite withdrawing from the Wuhan Open

Coco Gauff has confirmed her participation as a member of the United States squad for the upcoming Billie King Cup competition. This announcement follows her decision to skip the Wuhan Open, a tournament where she was the defending champion, after experiencing physical exhaustion and enduring a series of hateful online messages during her time in Beijing.

Her recent campaign at the China Open concluded with a straight-sets defeat to Elise Mertens, marking her first loss to that opponent in six career meetings.
