Steelers placing WR Michael Pittman Jr. on injured reserve

The Pittsburgh Steelers have placed wide receiver **Michael Pittman Jr.** on short-term injured reserve, ending his immediate contribution for at least the next four weeks. The move follows a foot injury that has sidelined the veteran receiver, who was recently seen using a scooter for mobility support.

Pittman, who had been limited to non-participation in practices, was officially ruled out by head coach **Mike McCarthy**, who confirmed the injury would keep him out for multiple weeks. With Pittman’s absence, the Steelers’ receiving corps will rely on **Roman Wilson** and rookie **Germie Bernard** to step up in his place.
