The Pittsburgh Steelers made a pair of roster adjustments on Tuesday, clearing space by releasing outside linebacker Bradyn Swinson from their practice squad. Swinson, a former fifth-round selection by the New England Patriots in the 2025 NFL Draft, had joined Pittsburgh’s practice squad in early September after being projected as a potential third- or fourth-round talent before being selected.
The move creates an opening on the Steelers’ practice squad, which currently stands at one spot short of full capacity as the team prepares for Week 5.
Alongside Swinson’s departure, the Steelers finalized the addition of cornerback Terrell Smith to the active roster and signed outside linebacker K.J. Henry to the practice squad.
With these changes, Pittsburgh’s roster now sits at the full 53-man limit, setting the stage for their upcoming matchup against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
