South Africa squad for Australia Tests — Rabada named in extended squad, Ackerman called up for first time

Fast bowler Kagiso Rabada has been selected in South Africa's expanded squad for the upcoming Test series against Australia. However, his availability for the opening match remains uncertain as he continues his recovery from a hamstring issue picked up during a recent training session, meaning medical staff will evaluate his condition prior to the fixture.

Due to this ongoing rehabilitation, he is sitting out the current one-day international matches between the two nations.
