Dolphins sign RB Carlos Washington, elevate DL Mazi Smith

Miami has promoted Carlos Washington from the practice squad to bolster the running back corps following a season-ending torn ACL for De'Von Achane. Washington previously appeared in a pair of contests for Atlanta over the preceding two seasons and joined the Dolphins organization during May.

Additionally, the franchise promoted defensive lineman Mazi Smith and defensive end Rodney McGraw ahead of the upcoming matchup against Minnesota. Smith entered the league as a first-round selection for Dallas in the 2023 draft before joining Miami last month, while McGraw arrived as an undrafted rookie earlier this year.
