Sophie Cunningham delivers hot take on why WNBA didn’t suspend A’ja Wilson

Sophie Cunningham addressed her team's postseason exit by questioning why A'ja Wilson avoided suspension following an incident with a spectator during their playoff series. The Indiana guard claimed on her new podcast that league officials protected their star player similarly to LeBron James due to competitive interests, though she acknowledged that keeping the MVP on the floor prevented a larger controversy.

The Las Vegas squad ultimately triumphed in the opening round matchup to advance past Indiana. Cunningham now faces an uncertain future in the sport as her current contract with her franchise has concluded following the elimination.
