‘Grow up’: Sophie Cunningham calls out Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson

Following the conclusion of the initial postseason phase, guard Sophie Cunningham addressed the recent playoff series between the Indiana Fever and the Las Vegas Aces during an appearance on her digital program. The discussion centered on an incident during the second contest involving center A'ja Wilson, who received a technical infraction following a heated exchange with an opposing spectator.

Cunningham expressed frustration regarding the reaction to the confrontation, arguing that players should tolerate typical fan behavior as the league seeks broader support and parity.

Furthermore, Cunningham expressed belief that the star center should have faced a suspension for the altercation and noted a perceived inconsistency in disciplinary enforcement. Despite the ongoing discussion surrounding the conduct dispute, the Las Vegas squad successfully moved forward to the next round of the tournament.

The team now prepares to face defensive standout Gabby Williams and the opposition in the upcoming semifinal matchups.
