Social media: Italian sports newspaper takes swipe at Ferrari as Antonelli claims title | Brief

Following Andrea Kimi Antonelli securing the twenty twenty-six drivers championship, a prominent Italian sports publication criticized Ferrari with a front page remark celebrating the drivers success away from the Maranello squad. The fresh title holder entered the Mercedes junior program at age eleven, delivering the organization its eighth drivers crown since twenty fourteen.

His father Marco previously stated that Ferrari let slip a chance to secure his son by turning him down during Maurizio Arrivabene management tenure between twenty fourteen and twenty nineteen. Ferrari has not captured a drivers championship since Kimi Raikkonen triumphed in twenty seven.
