Sean McVay hopes to never play again in Australia; Aaron Donald's game status undecided

Following a September 11 defeat against the San Francisco 49ers overseas in Australia, Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay indicated he prefers to avoid competing in that country again. Looking forward to an upcoming Week 2 matchup with the New York Giants, McVay remains uncertain whether defensive standout Aaron Donald will suit up, though team insiders still target and hold optimism for his return to action.

Donald's availability takes on added urgency because Myles Garrett requires knee surgery and will shift to injured reserve. Despite facing an 0-1 record after their season opener, the Rams are attempting to regroup without internal panic as they confront a Giants squad aiming for a 2-0 record.
