The Seattle Seahawks' 2026 rookie class faced another setback in Week 4 against the Chargers, with limited playing time and injuries further complicating their early-season development. Only two rookies—Beau Stephens and Julian Neal—saw action, with Stephens logging 25 offensive snaps as the team’s lone consistent rookie contributor at right guard.
His performance, however, was his worst yet, as he struggled in pass-protection duties, including a blown assignment on a pull play. Meanwhile, Neal remained stuck on special teams, recording 23 snaps but failing to earn defensive reps, while fellow rookies Jadarian Price and Bud Clark sat idle due to injuries.
Price, who had been Seattle’s most promising rookie running back, was placed on injured reserve with a chest injury, ending his brief but promising start to the season. The Seahawks’ rookie situation grows more uncertain by the week, with only Stephens showing any real progress on offense and no clear path forward for the others.
