The New York Jets face another week without key contributors as running back Breece Hall and wide receiver Adonai Mitchell remain sidelined with lingering injuries. Both players, who missed last week’s game against the Bears, are now listed as week-to-week after skipping Wednesday’s practice, according to head coach Aaron Glenn.
Hall, who left Week 3 against the Detroit Lions with a quad injury, has been replaced by Braelon Allen, who rushed for 59 yards on 14 attempts in the Jets’ last outing. Meanwhile, tight end Mason Taylor returned to practice following his absence in Week 4, though his production has been limited to just two receptions for negative yards over two games.
Edge rusher Kingsley Enagbare also practiced for the first time since Week 3, though he continues to manage both a thumb and knee issue. The Jets also opened a 21-day window for veteran wide receiver Tim Patrick to return from injured reserve, potentially adding another weapon to the offense if cleared from his groin injury.
Other players like Dylan Parham, Kiko Mauigoa, and Jarvis Brownlee Jr. remain in varying stages of recovery, with Parham and Mauigoa also out last week due to knee and quad injuries, respectively.
