The 2026 Hero World Challenge has unveiled a powerhouse lineup led by reigning champion Hideki Matsuyama and two-time winner Scottie Scheffler, both aiming to become the first three-time champions at Albany. The 20-man field includes seven of the world’s top 10 players, such as Cameron Young and Matt Fitzpatrick, alongside Matsuyama and Scheffler, who have combined for 106 PGA Tour victories and six major titles.
Three rookies—Si Woo Kim, Ryan Gerard, and Jacob Bridgeman—will make their debuts, while the event will feature 11 participants from the 2026 Presidents Cup, including eight from the victorious U.S. team.
The tournament, hosted by Tiger Woods, will return to The Bahamas for its 11th year, with rounds scheduled from December 3–6. However, Woods’ participation remains unconfirmed following his recent legal and health challenges, leaving fans to speculate about his involvement in the high-profile event.
