Report: Sauce Gardner week-to-week with mild calf strain

Indiana Colts cornerback Sauce Gardner will face an uncertain timeline after exiting Sunday’s game with a mild calf strain, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Gardner left the contest in the third quarter and, despite appearing to attempt a return, was unable to re-enter.

The injury could keep him out for an extended period as he recovers week-to-week, disrupting the Colts’ secondary depth entering their next matchup. Acquired midway through last season, Gardner has contributed four passes defensed and 17 total tackles in 2026, establishing himself as a reliable presence on defense despite the setback.
