Schefter: Kyler Murray Not Likely To Play Against Bears

Minnesota Vikings signal-caller Kyler Murray is facing doubt regarding his availability for an upcoming showdown with the Chicago Bears. Murray sustained a head injury during his first regular-season appearance with Minnesota, getting knocked out in the opening quarter of Sunday's divisional battle against the Green Bay Packers.

The terrifying blow dislodged his helmet while he slid to the turf, sending him directly to the dressing room before he was officially diagnosed with a concussion and barred from returning.

Following the starter's departure, backup quarterback Carson Wentz stepped under center to guide Minnesota to a 39-22 triumph over Green Bay. Teammate Aaron Jones expressed that the roster was keeping their fallen leader in their prayers as attention turned to Murray's recovery.

Wentz may be tasked with another start under center for the impending NFC North clash in Chicago should Murray remain sidelined.
