Saquon Barkley injury: Eagles running back injures hamstring against Rams

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley left the game against the Los Angeles Rams due to a hamstring issue sustained early in the contest. After six yards on an out-of-bounds carry during the second drive, the ball carrier limped away, struck his leg, and headed to the locker room following a visit to the medical evaluation area.

The team designated his return status as questionable. Philadelphia already misses several offensive contributors including DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert, Hollywood Brown, Lane Johnson, and Fred Johnson.

Reserves Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley are expected to share backfield duties in his absence, following a previous absence earlier in the season due to a stinger against the Tennessee Titans.
