Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan made history in the T20I series against Sri Lanka, becoming the first Pakistani batter—and just the eighth player overall—to score half-centuries in all three matches of a bilateral series. His unbeaten 89, 73, and 76 across the three games totaled 238 runs, surpassing Indian opener Abhishek Sharma’s previous record of 229 in a three-match T20I series.
Farhan’s consistency also earned him a place alongside former Indian captain Virat Kohli, who was the first to achieve three consecutive half-centuries in a T20I series back in 2016. Despite Pakistan’s 8-wicket loss in the final match, Farhan’s series stood out as a standout individual performance, cementing his reputation as a key player in Pakistan’s T20I lineup under his captaincy.
