Rory McIlroy Announces Career News After Recent ESPN Deal

Golfer Rory McIlroy has expanded his professional commitments beyond the course, announcing a new global partnership with logistics firm DP World. The deal, revealed in New Delhi, makes McIlroy the company’s exclusive ambassador in logistics and supply chain operations, with DP World managing two custom-built fitness and recovery trailers that will travel with him on tour.

Each trailer includes advanced equipment like strength stations, infrared saunas, and Hyperice recovery tools, designed to maintain consistency across his international schedule. The collaboration follows McIlroy’s recent return to the DP World India Championship, where he’ll compete from October 15–18 at Delhi Golf Club, seeking to improve on his debut performance from last year’s inaugural event—won by defending champion Tommy Fleetwood.

McIlroy, a seven-time Race to Dubai champion, also confirmed his participation in December’s Cathedral Invitational in Australia, a mixed-gender event benefiting Adam Scott’s foundation, before the 2027 PGA Tour season begins in January.
