Report: Sean Strickland vs. Nassourdine Imavov rematch targeted for UFC card in February

Middleweight titleholder Sean Strickland is slated to defend his 185-pound belt against top contender Nassourdine Imavov early in the year 2027. According to podcast commentary from MMA reporter Mike Bohn, the matchup could be finalized for a February fight card in the state of Florida.

Strickland has remained inactive since securing a victory over Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 328 in May, dealing with a shoulder injury and a contractual dispute with the organization following a prior win against Imavov in early 2023.
