Coquito Zamora, the latest Spanish gem who surprised everyone in a Major

Teenage standout Juan Coquito Zamora and partner Marc Sintes have caused a massive stir in the Kuwait Major by battling all the way to the quarterfinals. Unseeded as the thirtieth-ranked duo in the tournament, the young pairing began their campaign by dismissing Mario Del Castillo and Ignacio Vilariño before pulling off a major upset against Momo González and Lucas Campagnolo in a tight three-set battle.

They followed that statement win by eliminating Álex Ruiz and Javi García in straight sets, establishing a historic milestone as the lowest-ranked pair in Premier Padel history to reach this advanced stage of competition. Their remarkable run will now continue with a clash against Juan Tello and Maxi Arce for a spot in the semifinals.
