Report: Napoli eyeing opportunity for Barcelona and 2026 World Cup winning midfielder

Struggling Italian club Napoli is reportedly weighing an ambitious winter bid for Barcelona midfielder Gavi. The Serie A side currently sits in eighth place following a recent defeat to Juventus under the direction of manager Massimiliano Allegri.

Meanwhile, the twenty-two-year-old Spanish international has experienced limited playing time this campaign under Hansi Flick due to a prior knee problem and heavy competition from teammates like Pedri and Rodri. Reports indicate that Barcelona might entertain offers around forty million euros for the midfielder when the transfer window opens in January.
