Report: Falcons DL Da'Shawn Hand believed to have a torn quad

Atlanta started its 2026 campaign on a sour note, falling to Pittsburgh in the opening contest. Beyond the defeat on the scoreboard, the franchise is also bracing for the potential loss of a defensive lineman for the remainder of the season.

Da'Shawn Hand is suspected of having sustained a torn quad during the matchup. If confirmed, the injury would deal a significant blow to the Falcons' defensive front right out of the gate.
