Real Madrid finally show their potential under Jose Mourinho in convincing El Clasico win over Barcelona

Real Madrid secured a 2-1 victory over Barcelona on Sunday, narrowing the gap between the two clubs to three points in the league standings. Kylian Mbappe reached a personal milestone by scoring his 99th and 100th goals for the visitors during the match.

Raphinha also found the back of the net for Barcelona, marking his 13th goal in nine domestic appearances this season. Under the guidance of Jose Mourinho, Real Madrid utilized a disciplined defensive strategy, maintaining possession for less than 38 percent of the game to stifle their opponents.

Despite Barcelona attempting 18 shots compared to Real Madrid's 10, Hansi Flick's squad struggled to generate high-quality scoring chances, finishing with an expected goals total of 1.19.
