Arkansas delivered a dominant defensive display on Saturday, limiting backup quarterback Dexter Williams and the rest of the Tulsa attack to only 241 yards of total offense during a 34-6 triumph. Williams stepped in under center for the Golden Hurricane and managed 176 passing yards on 20 completions, alongside a 15-yard rush that set up his team's sole touchdown on the following play.
Despite those efforts, the Razorback defense routinely slammed the door, forcing five punts in the opening half alone, generating two fumbles via Ben Bogle, Antonio Sandel-Bascomb, and Shelton Lewis, and finishing the contest with a turnover on downs. Following the final whistle, both Arkansas head coach Ryan Silverfield and Tulsa head coach Tre Lamb addressed the difficulties their respective squads faced in moving the chains and generating explosive plays throughout the evening.
