Ranking the World Series chances for last four MLB teams looking for first title after Brewers snap drought

The Milwaukee Brewers secured their inaugural World Series title by defeating the Tampa Bay Rays, marking the fourth time in a decade that a club has won its first championship. This result leaves only four franchises in Major League Baseball without a ring.

Among those remaining is the Colorado Rockies, who finished their 2026 campaign with a 58-104 record. Despite their struggles, the organization has begun modernizing its approach under the leadership of Paul DePodesta and Josh Byrnes, while seeing promising development from players like Chase Dollander, Cole Carrigg, Hunter Goodman, Kyle Karros, and TJ Rumfield.
