Kentucky’s Randall Cobb has been inducted into the 2026 SEC Football Legends class, recognizing his unparalleled versatility and impact during his collegiate career. Cobb, a 2017 UK Athletics Hall of Fame inductee, dominated as a wide receiver, quarterback, and return specialist, setting SEC and UK records with 2,396 all-purpose yards in 2010 and 37 career touchdowns.
His dual-threat abilities earned him First-Team All-American honors as a junior and All-SEC accolades as a sophomore and junior, while his all-around excellence made him a finalist for the 2010 Paul Hornung Award. Cobb’s NFL journey followed, where he spent 13 seasons with the Green Bay Packers, accumulating 7,624 receiving yards and 54 touchdowns across 630 catches, further cementing his legacy as one of the most dynamic players in SEC history.
The 2026 SEC Football Legends class will honor 14 athletes and coaches, including Cobb, who will be celebrated at a two-day event in Atlanta, culminating in a pre-game ceremony at Mercedes-Benz Stadium before the SEC Championship Game on December 5. The class spans eras and positions, from legendary coaches like Nick Saban and Mark Richt to standout players like Patrick Peterson and Tony Bennett, reflecting the depth of SEC football’s storied past.
