The Los Angeles Rams snapped their winless skid with a 24-9 victory over the 0-7 San Diego Chargers on Sunday, marking their second consecutive win in a season that has been anything but smooth. After a dismal start that saw the Rams manage just 24 yards in their first five possessions, including a 0-for-5 performance on third downs, the team rallied in the second half.
Matthew Stafford led the charge with a touchdown pass, while Kyren Williams and Blake Corum added rushing scores, helping the Rams overcome early struggles. The Chargers, meanwhile, continued their woes, extending their losing streak to 10 games and falling to 0-7 for the first time since 2000.
Justin Herbert, the NFL’s lowest-scoring quarterback, struggled mightily, throwing his 10th interception of the season while completing just 24 of 32 passes for 257 yards. Defensive standouts Quentin Lake and Trent McDuffie played key roles, with Lake and McDuffie combining for two interceptions to stifle Herbert’s offense, which had shown little improvement entering the game.
