Rain expected for Tennessee football vs Auburn on Saturday. Latest weather forecast

The thirteenth-ranked Volunteers will host Auburn at home on October 3 for an afternoon matchup where precipitation is heavily favored throughout the day. Meteorologists anticipate roughly half an inch of accumulation alongside gentle winds, forcing the squad to adjust after playing their prior contests in extreme heat and heavy humidity.

Because wet turf could complicate throwing the ball, the team needs to revive its rushing output following a recent three-point defeat to Texas where ground yardage was heavily restricted.
