Perth Scorchers sign Zak Crawley after Finn Allen's departure to Melbourne Stars

The Perth Scorchers have secured English batsman Zak Crawley for the upcoming Big Bash League campaign on a one-year agreement. Crawley arrives to take the roster spot previously held by Finn Allen, who shifted to the Melbourne Stars following a prolific championship run with Perth last term.

Head coach Adam Voges noted that Crawley brings familiarity with the franchise from his prior stint, joining other top-order batters like Mitch Marsh, Cooper Connolly, and Aaron Hardie for the tournament.
