Penn State's Defense Was Good Enough on Saturday to Win, this One is On the Offense

Penn State suffered a devastating defeat after a stellar defensive showing was wasted by the unit on the other side of the ball. The Nittany Lions surrendered only 335 total yards, forced three interceptions, and collected two fumbles, but an offense led by quarterback Rocco Becht failed to convert those opportunities.

Becht endured the worst performance of his collegiate career, posting abysmal efficiency ratings and completing a dismal percentage of his passes. Following this stunning setback against Wisconsin, the path forward gets significantly harder as upcoming matchups against Michigan, USC, and Washington become must-wins for the squad to salvage its postseason hopes.
