Patriots try out 2 edge rushers ahead of Bills game

Ahead of their upcoming matchup against the undefeated Bills in Buffalo, the New England Patriots evaluated a pair of free agent outside linebackers on Tuesday, though no contracts were finalized. Victor Dimukeje and Eric Watts participated in workouts as the club evaluates options to fill multiple vacancies currently on their roster and practice squad.

New England enters the weekend holding a 1-2 record following a lopsided defeat to Jacksonville, a contest where their edge depth was significantly depleted due to injuries. The upcoming road game is scheduled for a Sunday afternoon kickoff.
