Patriots close first half of 'Thursday Night Football' with Rhamondre Stevenson TD thanks to bizarre misfire by Bears coverage

New England running back Rhamondre Stevenson stunned the Chicago defense with a 48-yard touchdown catch as the first half expired on Thursday night. Despite the low probability of a score from that distance, a significant lapse in coverage allowed the Patriots to narrow their deficit before the break.

The game ultimately concluded with a 30-24 victory for the Bears, bolstered by a career-long 58-yard field goal from Cairo Santos. Quarterbacks Caleb Williams and Drake Maye both saw action during the Week 7 contest.
