Papers: Man Utd fearful of Man City swoop for Gabriel

Manchester United are apprehensive that their fifteen-year-old talent JJ Gabriel might defect across town to Manchester City following his request to depart, while Real Madrid also stand prepared to recruit the gifted youngster. Meanwhile, Arsenal are monitoring Liverpool prospect Rio Ngumoha should the adolescent decline a long-term commitment at Anfield.

United could additionally target Real Madrid prospect Endrick during the winter window if an opportunity emerges, alongside reviving their pursuit of Everton centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite.

Elsewhere in the Premier League, Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish is allegedly dissatisfied with manager Pierre Sage after Jaydee Canvot was benched following a mere four appearances, though goalkeeper Dean Henderson is poised to earn top billing on Palace's wage bill via a fresh contract to deter Nottingham Forest. In continental and Scottish news, several prominent sides are watching ex-Celtic forward Kelechi Iheanacho amid his impressive displays for Bursaspor in Turkey, Barcelona are discussing a contract renewal with Raphinha, and the Catalan heavyweights have constructed an attacking shortlist featuring Harry Kane, Erling Haaland, Julian Alvarez, and Nick Woltemade.
