Pakistan’s participation in this year’s World Championship of Legends has been cut short after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) declined to issue the necessary no-objection certificates (NOCs) for the squad. The tournament, which kicked off on October 3, faced an immediate hurdle when Pakistan’s scheduled match against Bangladesh was postponed due to the unresolved administrative issue.
With no resolution in sight, the team has now withdrawn entirely, leaving the competition without one of its marquee sides. The decision underscores ongoing logistical challenges for the Legends series, which has already seen disruptions ahead of its opening games.
