Ospreys dominated by Sharks but earn Durban bonus

Mark Jones guided his Ospreys squad to an opening-round defeat in the United Rugby Championship after dropping a high-scoring contest against the Sharks on foreign soil. Despite falling behind early and trailing significantly at the halfway mark, the visitors managed to secure a four-try bonus point thanks to resilient play from Luke Morgan, Sam Parry, debutant Liam Wright, and Iestyn Hopkins.

The hosts secured the victory through strong performances from players like Luan Giliomee, Vusi Moyo, and Nick Hatton, claiming a definitive win despite missing several key personnel.
