Oregon starting signal-caller Dante Moore exited Saturday's matchup against USC early after sustaining a concussion from a hit by linebacker Desman Stephens. Although medical evaluation required the quarterback to leave the venue on a cart and head to a hospital, reports indicate he avoided any further damage and should return later in the campaign.
Before his departure, Moore completed eight of ten attempts for 77 yards, helping his squad build an eventual 41-27 victory.
Following the injury, replacement quarterback Dylan Raiola stepped in to secure the triumph by completing 19 out of 25 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns. The program now holds a 3-1 overall record alongside a 1-0 conference mark as they head into a bye week, followed by upcoming contests against the UCLA Bruins and the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
