Oregon quarterback Dante Moore avoided severe injury after taking a dangerous hit to the head from USC linebacker Desman Stephens II during a recent game. Although Moore temporarily lost feeling and required an ambulance ride off the field, head coach Dan Lanning confirmed that both his MRI and CT scans yielded clean results following a concussion diagnosis.
The team defeated USC with a score of 41-27, relying on backup Dylan Raiola to secure the victory. Following the incident, Stephens received a one-game suspension for his illegal hit and subsequent celebration, which sparked a bench-clearing altercation on the field.
The Ducks will enjoy a bye week before hosting UCLA at Autzen Stadium.
